Mixing units M3D - M5D - M6D

Marindco has manufactured over 350 unit of this type.
The M3D & M5D were developed special for the HDD drilling rigs with max. drill pump capacity of 750 lpm (200 usgpm). The M6D is a M5D with a smaller engine. The unit can be delivered with two different diesel engines.

The mixing pump for the M5D is of an international standard and in hard iron material (450 Br) and with a long life mechanical shaft seal. The M3D and M6D have a KSB centrifugal pump with stuffing box packing.

Between tank and piping, butterfly valves are installed and only for the M5D rubber expansion joints are used. The use of a high shear nozzle-venturi unit and the recirculation of the flow guaranty a homogeneous bentonite mixture.

All units can be ordered completely covered under the work deck.
